The entire incident has been captured on a CCTV camera installed in a shop. The newborn baby wrapped in a bag was placed in front of Vakratund Medical near Chetna School on Malanggarh Road.

The shop owner noticed it around 7 a.m. and immediately contacted the Manpada police and informed them about it, after which Assistant Police Inspector B.S. Vanjari’s team immediately reached the spot and inspected it. Police found a newborn baby alive in the bag, he was rushed to Shastringarh Hospital for examination. The child has undergone a health test and an antigen test. The child is in good health and is currently being cared for at Janani Ashish Charitable Trust. A petition will be filed in Ulhasnagar with the permission of the Child Welfare Committee, Vanjari said.
