Two of Motorola’s much-awaited flagship devices, the Motorola Razr 2022 and the Motorola X30 Pro, were slated to launch in China on August 2. But before the event, Motorola announced the cancellation of the launch event without giving any specific reason. However, at this time Motorola’s general manager Chen Jin reduced this fog a little. He shared a photo of the Moto Razr 2022 folded in half on social media and the photo shows the date August 11 on the cover screen of the foldable phone. Although Chen Jin has not yet confirmed the phone’s launch date, it is speculated that the Motorola Razr 2022 and Moto X30 Pro will be launched next week.
Motorola Razr 2022 and Moto X30 Pro may launch on August 11
Motorola General Manager Chen Jin has posted a new teaser of the Moto Razr 2022 foldable phone on Chinese microblogging site Weibo. And in this teaser image, the cover screen of the handset shows the date 11 August along with the time 2 to 2. The image is believed to show the next expected launch date and time of the Moto Razr 2022. The company is also expected to unveil the Moto X30 Pro model at the same event, as both the devices are slated to be launched simultaneously at the event on August 2. However, Motorola is yet to officially confirm anything about the rescheduled launch of both the flagship handsets.
Notably, the Moto Razr 2022 and Moto X30 Pro handsets are already available for pre-order through Chinese retail website Jingdong (JD.com) and the pre-order process is said to run until 11 August 19:59. This again suggests that the smartphones may go on sale soon after the launch.
Incidentally, both the handsets were slated to launch in China on the 2nd at 7:30 PM (5:00 PM in India). Unfortunately, the launch of Motorola Razr 2022 and Moto X30 Pro got canceled at the last minute. General manager Chen Jin confirmed the cancellation in a social media post before the launch, without giving a reason.
Talking about the specifications, according to the listing on Chinese certification site TENAA, the Motorola Razr 2022 will come with a 6.67-inch OLED primary display, which will offer Full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) resolution. Apart from this, the device has already been confirmed to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor.
On the other hand, the Moto X30 Pro handset has also been listed on TENAA’s site, which reveals that the smartphone will come with a 6.67-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) OLED display. Also, the company claims that the Moto X30 Pro will debut in the market as the first smartphone with a 200-megapixel camera sensor.
