When ‘AAP’ asked Modi for the post of Prime Minister and Arvind for the post of Chief Minister

AAP had shared a banner on its website ahead of the 2015 Delhi assembly elections which was removed within hours after it was mocked for using Prime Minister Modi’s image for its campaign.

Karnataka Congress National Secretary Abhishek Dutt has hit out at Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisiyodia, two days after he was arrested in connection with alleged corruption in the now scrapped liquor policy.

The Congress leader had shared a screenshot of a banner on the party’s homepage in 2014 that read “Delhi Speaks – Modi for Prime Minister, Arvind for Chief Minister.”

Delhi Deputy Chief Minister and AAP leader Manish Sisodia has today challenged the CBI’s arrest in the Supreme Court. Chief Justice DY Chandrachud, after listening to Mr. Sisodia’s lawyer Abhishek Singhvi, asked why he did not go to the High Court before coming directly to the Supreme Court.

A court in Delhi yesterday Mr. Sisodia sent to five-day Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) custody in Delhi liquor policy case.
